TechForGov participated in the 2026 NJ-GMIS Technology Education Conference (TEC), held April 14–15, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Princeton Conference Center in New Jersey. Himanshu Goil, CEO of TechForGov, and Amanda Coe, Head of Growth & Strategy, represented the company at this two-day event organized by NJ GMIS — the leading professional network for government IT leaders across New Jersey’s state, county, local, and school district agencies.
The 2026 TEC brought together CIOs, municipal administrators, finance officers, and technology decision-makers from hundreds of agencies across New Jersey. Core agenda themes included cybersecurity hardening, AI integration for citizen services, and shared services strategies for cost avoidance. Attendees earned Continuing Education Units (CEUs) — a mandatory requirement for municipal clerks, finance officers, and purchasing agents to maintain professional certifications. The New Jersey Department of Education also approved a lodging waiver for this event, recognizing it as critical infrastructure knowledge for school district leaders.
TechForGov engaged directly with government leaders to understand how IGNA®, its AI platform built for the public sector, can help municipalities reduce administrative burden, automate routine citizen services, and make faster, data-informed decisions — even as staffing pressures and budget constraints grow.
“The conversations at NJ-GMIS TEC reflect exactly where government IT is heading,” said Himanshu Goil, CEO of TechForGov. “Leaders aren’t asking whether to adopt AI anymore — they’re asking how to do it responsibly, affordably, and in a way that works for their teams. That’s precisely what IGNA® is built for.”
